For me, the City of Philadelphia brings back a lot of memories. Outside of my immediate family I have no relatives in the state I live in. My cousins all live in Philadelphia and I have many memories of visiting them. Each year that vacation not only consisted of cookouts and days at the pool, we also spent time visiting the historic sites of this grand city. I can remember visiting Independence Hall (back when you could just walk right in) when the Liberty Bell was still inside the hall.
I have been to many of their unique museums and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I recently went back there and was amazed at how different everything seemed. Now we all know that everything seems so much smaller and different as an adult, but a lot has also changed since 9/11. Things are much more secure and more difficult to see, but it still worth seeing if you are in Philadelphia.
