The Value of Business Cards

Business cards are an inexpensive and simple way of getting your name out on the street. They can be a very creative way of letting prospective customers know your name, contact information and how you can be of service to them. Even if you own an online business, business cards should not be overlooked as a viable method of bringing customers to your website.

This 2 inch by 3 1/2 inch card is an easy way to let people know what you do and they can even be used as a coupon. People cannot refuse discounts and coupons. Business cards have become very reasonably priced and can even be gotten online for free, although the free printable business cards do come with some drawbacks.

For a small fee, (usually less than $5) you can purchase 100-250 business cards that are designed exactly as you want them. Or, if your budget allows, you can have a designer create a custom logo to be used on your business cards.

So as you can see, custom business cards are a great way to attract new customers to your business. It is easy to drop a few off at neighborhood businesses, put them on windshields or on store bulletin boards. These are just a few ways you can use business cards. For a small fee, business cards online have great potential to increase your customer base.

Business cards are still essential for any business. So many times online business owners dismiss the need for them and it can really hurt their reputation. Online businesses aren’t seen as “real” businesses to many people and not having a professional business card only reinforces that perception.

I agree with what you say. Business cards are not just important for any business’s functioning, they are a necessity. Its like a memorandum for your client. Or shall say more like soft-selling your brand.
So, no matter how tech-savvy we become still we cannot completely eliminate the paper technology.

Most business cards whisper. If they speak to your prospect at all, they do so quietly. Give your clients a reason to call or visit by utilizing these cards.

Yeah, business cards are a nice traditional ‘romantic’ way of doing business. They will probably never totally disappear, same way as online newspapers will probably never totally replace paper newspapers.

I’ve found business cards the easiest method to spread awareness of your business via word of mouth

  36. Montreal Web Deisgn on Mon, 27th Apr 2009 4:52 pm

I feel business cards are essential to any business that wishes to have respect… personalized business cards especially (meaning with the company logo, as oppose to some cheaper, generic version with no personality). Even if a client/customer tosses your business card in the garbage afterward, they are more likely to remember the name of your company, and simply understand that you are more professional, therefor more trust-able than a business that never took the time to create/pay for one.
