Footloose

Posted on April 2, 2008 in the category

My son’s school is putting on their annual high school play. They are doing Footloose and that is different kind of play for them. We went to dress rehearsal last night. I enjoy that more than the actual play. It is informal and is attended by the cast and crews’ family and friends. It is the only time that you are allowed to take pictures and record the production.

The play was good, but is a little bit of a let down after the past few years. The guy that was the lead the last three years was very talented. He is majoring in theater in college. But every one seems be having a good time and that is what is important.

I’ve always wanted to be in a play… I’ve considered it, but I think I’m too shy to be able to go through with it. I would be afraid of being a bad actress and would end up messing up!

I love plays! Stefanie, you should join a play! There are many other parts besides the lead that you could take even if you’re shy. Even if you’re not the main actor/actress, it’s still a lot of fun.
